Lindsay has created something really special with Once Upon a Page.
From the moment I arrived, it felt less like a typical event and more like a thoughtfully built community where authors and readers could genuinely connect.
As an independent author, spaces like that matter more than people realize. You can feel the care, intention, and heart she puts into what she creates, and I’m grateful to have been part of it.

I was impressed by the amount of effort put out by The Spine Bookshop to provide a venue for Indie Authors, Illustrators, and Vendors. Not only was I able to promote and sell my books, but I was able to network with other people in the industry. I had no idea there were so many supportive people in the area.

I have been at several of Lindsay's events and they just keep getting better. I'm always amazed at the energy, love, preparation, and passion that she puts into her work and events. This was one of my best events yet not only in book sales but in networking. I've made great connections with other authors and vendors. The staff that was there worked so hard to make sure we got breaks, water, and even some snacks. They were fabulous and I can't wait for the next event.
Thank you to Lindsay Schultz and her crew. Wonderful job everyone!

No matter my schedule, if Lindsay has an event, you can bet I’ll be there. The networking is top notch at Once Upon A Page. I always come away with a new circle of friends and promising connections. This year I sold all of my stock!! I can’t wait to see what next year brings.

The first indie bookstore I stepped into, hoping to stock my debut novel, was the Spine Bookshop. Lindsay was excited, encouraging, and made me feel welcome. This is the energy she brings everywhere. She’s an advocate for voices that aren’t always the loudest and a true supporter of creatives. I can’t wait to continue growing alongside her!
